I love your book, which I bought about 2 months ago.
For the past 3 years, I've had an annual yoga course that I start every January.
Now that I've read your book, I feel that you are the one I want to learn from.

The Energy of the Five Seasons
An inspiring book that introduces you to aspects of Chinese medicine and Vedic philosophy in a simple and clear way. I particularly like the idea of connecting yoga exercises with the different meridians. It provides a good understanding of how the individual meridian pathways run in the body and inspiration on how you can easily work with them and stimulate contact with them.
The book can be used as a reference book. You can choose to start with a theme that catches your interest and then work from there. Perhaps you are used to practicing yoga, but want more perspectives on your yoga practice. Perhaps you are interested in how you can create a more energetic connection to the body's organs or understand how emotions affect the body and psyche.
The book is based on the five seasons, with late summer as the beautiful, 'extra' one. And it provides ideas on how you can be inspired by the course of the year and draw on the moods and opportunities for strength and deepening that we can find in the different seasons and in nature's elements.
I have used the book in my teaching and recommend it to my students because it is clear, and because you can 'get a little bit of everything' and then delve deeper elsewhere if you want to know more.

FOOT YOGA
Thanks - I've now completed Part 1 - with a fallen arch - 10 hammer toes and a sprained (slightly!) foot π
I was a bit anxious about it, especially with the sprain, but I took it a bit easier and sat down for some of the exercises that are usually done standing.
I want to tell you that my toes, feet, and the rest of me are doing really well π₯°

Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to participate in your 8-week foot-yoga course.
Both my husband and I greatly enjoy it, both during and after.
We truly get into all the sore spots, and the effect can be felt afterwards.
As in your other courses, you are excellent at explaining which parts of the body the various points on and under the feet are connected to. You easily and naturally explain theory during the exercises, and provide alternative suggestions for performing exercises.
The individual exercises vary from 3 minutes to 60 minutes. So you can easily fit them in when you have time.
I love the foot/finger exercise, where you interlace fingers and toes, and spread the toes. After a few times, I can clearly feel a difference.
The last balance exercise is also something we will definitely practice. We give our very best recommendations.

I've been very happy with Isabelle's Detox course, where we worked with many good nourishing exercises that helped the body cleanse on different levels - physical, emotional, and energetic. I liked the holistic approach (body and mind are connected) and Isabelle's good explanations about the meridian lines and how we can use the exercises to release blockages in the meridian lines and cleanse. I also liked the combination with acupressure points. And especially foot yoga and the foam roller program were my favorites. So I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to pamper and support their body and mind.

I have participated in several of Isabelle's online courses. I have enjoyed following them, as Isabelle has a good way of communicating her extensive knowledge. It has been easy to approach the postures through her guidance based on my level, even though it takes place online. Even though I have been practicing yoga for 20 years, I have been deeply inspired. The combination of yoga and acupressure is truly unique and ingenious. I am taking so many good things with me that will be integrated into my daily routine.
A particularly positive and concrete effect of the course is the peace of mind to sleep through the night. As a 60-year-old, for several years now I have had to get up in the middle of the night to urinate. I accepted it as a natural part of aging. But I have become wiser. The acupressure program has worked wonders, and now I can sleep through. My shoulders have also stopped bothering me at night. I am very hypermobile, and I have been told that shoulders just sag with age, despite a very healthy lifestyle both nutritionally and emotionally. But here too, I have become wiser.
So I thank you with all my heart for your generous and heartfelt way of sharing your knowledge and teaching.
It has been lovely to receive your email every morning. The last 14 days have been marked by an awareness of self-care and focus.

βI was caught by your advertisement - probably on Facebook or Instagram - and wondered what this was all about. I'm used to doing Iyengar yoga and hadn't heard of yoga specifically targeted at kidney/bladder. That intrigued me.
I have completed the entire program and have been very engrossed in the course. I love the soup and I haven't drunk cold water since you shared knowledge about its effect on the body.
I feel noticeably different throughout my body and my energy is at its peak. I experience a different warmth and well-being. The course is brilliantly structured, informative and varied, and I have taken many new exercises with me, especially the myofascial release part. The knowledge you share through references is really great and helps to support the desire to continue and maintain focus on persistence. I have already signed up for the next course with 14 days of natural detox.. and I'm thinking of becoming an extended member afterwards.

I was looking for a yin yoga training, and Isabelle's website popped up with pictures of her fantastic house in the forest and a description of her course that just ignited something within me. I have now completed a total of 85 hours of yin yoga courses with her, and throughout, Isabelle's teaching has been authentic, competent, and worth every penny!
She is a treasure trove of knowledge in yin yoga and traditional Chinese medicine, which is also part of the courses. I feel thoroughly equipped to optimize both my own practice and to gain a lot of teaching experience.

YOGA CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS
I would like to share my experience of Isabelle's fantastic knowledge of the body and her understanding of the connections between symptoms. For several years, I had been feeling like I had a duvet over my head, like being closed in with a cold, combined with weekly dizzy spells where everything went black for a few seconds. At the same time, I tended to have a stiff neck. Neither I nor the doctors saw a connection between these conditions. The doctors thought the dizziness was a sign of stress and iron deficiency. Much later, I developed pain between my shoulder blades, and it pulled down into my right arm so much that I was in constant agony and couldn't do even ordinary things like driving a car or washing dishes. I suggested to the physiotherapist I was referred to that it might be a pinched nerve. But he thought it must be muscular and recommended rest. I had started yoga with Isabelle a few months earlier and contacted her about my arm symptoms. She asked about a few different things, and I told her about the dizziness and neck as well. Isabelle explained two simple exercises to me, which I immediately started doing daily. Already after a week, I was largely pain-free and, to my great delight, could start my weekly yoga again. I could feel that I needed to continue with the exercises to keep it at bay, but I could start functioning again, and after three weeks, I was fully functional. My arm worked, the stiffness between my shoulder blades was gone, but even better: I was rid of my years-long fog and thereby also the dizzy spells. Now I just need to maintain it with my exercises and yoga classes. Thanks to Isabelle from Anja.

βRelaxed, cozy, and beneficial morning yoga for a bachelorette party
It was lovely to be taught yoga by Isabelle. The yoga instruction was used as an introduction to a bachelorette party and was perfectly in line with the relaxed and cozy atmosphere we requested for the event. The program was adapted to the outdoor surroundings, and we got warm despite the slightly chilly weather. We went through a series of fun exercises, and there was room for laughter. The skilled participants were challenged, and beginners could also join in. At the same time, we also learned about the benefits of the different exercises and received individual corrections. You can feel Isabelle's engagement and experience, and she understands how to adapt the teaching to the occasion. Isabelle is highly recommended for a similar event!

At first, I had many funny ideas about yoga - primarily because of my gender and what "men should do"!
But after a small crisis in my personal life, I felt it was necessary to make some changes, and to do so, I needed to work on both my mental and physical health. Thank you for a truly wonderful and enriching yoga-detox weekend. It was my first time trying such a stay, so I was very excited. All my wishes and hopes were fully met and much more. It was a very rich weekend with many experiences, information, and inspiration, so I was both tired (saturated) and full of energy when I returned home. It was an active weekend full of pampering.
It was especially nice that we were a small group, so it became a safe group where there was time and space for everyone.
After the weekend, I have specifically experienced having more energy, better digestion, and more surplus and patience in general. I have also gained some small tips and ideas about food and mindset, which I have implemented in my daily life. Not a huge life change, but just small habits.

It has been a very rewarding and inspiring course. Although detox was on the program, we received fantastic, delicious, varied, and lovely food. For me, it has provided inspiration for good, healthy changes in my daily diet, which I am very happy about.
Yoga and venous pump exercises and other exercises were also really good, and always with plenty of time for rest and breaks, which one can definitely need when the cleansing is in full swing on all levels.
We ended Sunday afternoon with a homemade scrub for the whole body; that is also a lovely practice to take home with you.
We had lovely weather and nice trips to the beach, and we stayed in a super beautiful and lovely house.
I am grateful to have participated in this weekend. Isabelle is skilled, loving, and inspiring, and knows so incredibly much about the good, healthy life and loves to share it with the rest of us.
So, all in all, I would recommend such a weekend.

Thank you so much for some very pleasant hours with you. One of your strengths was that you quickly created an intimate and trusting space between us, even though not everyone knew each other. It has meant a lot to me that you have combined knowledge with exercises, so I know why I should prioritize being mindful. Knowing what it does to me β also in the long run. I know it already β among other things, from 'Mindful Presence', but it's so easy to forget, and therefore so good to be reminded.
