My background
I originally graduated with an M.Sc. in Intercultural Communication, Spanish, and Marketing, specializing in culture shock, from CBS in 2010. My thesis and my own experiences with culture shock led me to start my first company, CultureFusion, where I have taught and coached universities and businesses on culture shock and cultural differences.

As one of my greatest interests is the mind, I decided to switch paths in 2013 and further my education to become a MasterCoach, which ignited my passion. In 2014, I trained as a Mindfulness Instructor, Positive Psychology Counselor, and NLP Practitioner with EFT.

In May 2014, I decided to pack my backpack and embark alone on a pilgrimage on the Camino in Northern Spain. I walked 343 km on the original route, Camino Primitivo, which starts in Oviedo and ends in Santiago de Compostela. It was an experience of a lifetime that I wish everyone could experience at least once.

This fantastic experience led me to go to an Ashram in India in November 2014 to become a certified yoga teacher. After I graduated, I was invited to stay at the ashram and help train aspiring yoga teachers in yoga and mindfulness.

Since then, I have continued my education and learned to find balance between introspection and practicing the many facets of yoga, while also being passionate about being an entrepreneur and starting new projects. In 2015, I started as an independent yoga teacher with my company Life&Yoga, where I have collaborated with many talented instructors on yoga classes, workshops, and trainings. In 2017, I opened Zenliv Health Center, a clinic community for alternative therapists and instructors. In 2018, I started BROEN-Lyngby-Taarbæk, which helps vulnerable children and young people engage in active leisure. This page and my online universe came about during the lockdown in 2020.

Personal development
What I am most grateful for are all the experiences I have had in my life - for better or worse. I value my personal development much higher than any education or acquired skill. Life helps shape us, and we can learn so much if we wish.

I have personally experienced a lot in my life already and have learned to appreciate and learn from every experience. Good and "bad".

I have experienced both work-related and personal stress, culture shock in connection with a stay abroad, and lighter depressions among other things in connection with long-term unemployment. I have also experienced bullying for most of my childhood, the loss of a parent at an early age, loneliness for most of my life, and a lack of zest for life.

I sense people. I have always been particularly sensitive to other people's feelings, moods, and physical challenges, and for most of my life, it has been a struggle for me not to take it too personally and to understand when something emotionally or physically is not "mine". I now see it as a gift that I use in my work with people.

I have completely changed my life several times and am used to working with the many emotions, challenges, and lessons, which I see as the most important things in life.

Personally, I have undergone major changes in my life in a very short time. I woke up one day in 2012 and realized that I was not happy and therefore decided to change all areas of my life. I made big changes, all at once, changes that would throw anyone off balance - and yet I have never felt happier than when I had almost nothing left. Everything is changeable, and it is important to go with the flow to the extent that is right for us.

One of the most important things I have learned and continue to work on is to go with life's waves. To let go of what no longer serves, to see possibilities and nurture hope when facing adversity and feeling like giving up, to find joy and gratitude in small pleasures, and not least, always to aim for dreams - no matter how big and overwhelming they may seem.

My approach
As a coach and instructor, I have no desire to influence you with my personal experiences. We are all different, and no two developmental journeys are the same. I have deep respect for my clients' personal development, which is why it is important to me that I neither judge nor interpret what you may share with me. My starting point is that we are all good people seeking answers and solutions. You will find the answers within yourself - and I can help you dig for them. I will help you gain perspective and search deeper - but you must make the choices yourself and choose what feels right for you.

My life has taught me that it is important to follow your heart and pursue your dreams, even when it seems impossible and when you feel like you are risking everything. The reward is so much greater when you reach your goal. But as I learned on my Camino, the real gift is not the destination itself, but the journey towards it. Life is a journey.
